Bernard Director / Cinematographer / Producer Bernard J Hunt is a New York City based director, cinematographer, and producer. An award-winning graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and FAMU, the Czech national film school, Bernard began his career as a cinematographer shooting commercials, music videos, and feature films for a wide variety of clients and directors. Bernard has produced numerous commercial spots for NBC, co-produced a feature film with Gold Circle Films, and directed several narrative, commercial, and music video projects. He has further widened his clientele by directing and photographing high-end fashion campaigns and editorials. |

"Born and raised in the outer boroughs of NYC I was destined for the hustle. My mother bought me my first Kodak 110 camera when I was six years old and I proceeded to photograph all of my friends. I still have the very first photo album I created.
In 2004, I interned at a commercial photography studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Since then, I have assisted countless top commercial photographers spanning still life, fashion, Interiors, and portraiture.
For the past ten years, I have been navigating my deep comprehension of photography, both technically and artistically, to develop my own voice as a Latino in this ever-changing landscape that is commercial photography."
